Dr. Symonds is a member of several volunteer dental organizations. He is part of the Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Team for the State of Alaska, Department of Health and Social Services and helps out monthly.

He is also a member of the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program. Through the DDS program, dentists donate their services to help individuals with special needs who cannot afford dental treatment.

Dr. Symond’s staff is also involved in community volunteer work. This past summer, Dr. Symonds and several staff members worked with Habitat For Humanity, constructing new homes for families in need. The staff had a great time, as you can see from the photos!
