When To Brush
To have that fabulous smile with shiny,
straight, healthy white teeth and nicely-shaped pink
gums, you need to do the following each day:
- Brush your
teeth first thing when you get up in the morning!
Use the three-step scrub method - you don’t
even have to use toothpaste! That takes extra time and
can get in the way of seeing how well you’ve brushed.
Check to make sure you’ve removed all the ‘bugs’ that
have been sitting in your mouth all night, and remember
to brush again after breakfast to get any loose food
out.
- Brush after lunch using the travel toothbrush we
have given you. Use the three-step scrub method and
remember - you do not have to use toothpaste. Make
sure that all the ‘bugs’ have
been brushed off.
- Floss and brush just before bed each
night. Using threaders, floss between all your teeth.
With fluoride toothpaste, use the three-step scrub
method and brush all the ‘bugs’ off
your teeth and along the gum line. Check to be sure
all the ‘bugs’ have
been brushed off and then rinse with fluoride mouth
rinse if you desire.
